STAIR in West Virginia

The STAIR program at Old Stone Presbyterian Church operates as a community outreach to local public schools in Greenbrier County. During the 2009-2010 school year, the program is serving 5 second graders from Lewisburg Elementary School. In the past 8 years, this STAIR site has served a total of 41 students. STAIR program coordinator Marcia Leitch notes, "The parents have been noticing how quickly the students progress and how cooperative the elementary school teachers are. It's a real partnership!"
